Scouting Resources

The national BSA web site, scouting.org, contains a library of information regarding the Cub Scout program. Please keep in mind that these resources are generic in nature, and may not be 100% applicable to the program as conducted by your Pack. This page links to sub pages on the following topics:

Scoutbook.com

Most Pack's use Scoutbook for online access to the offical roster, advancement requirements, and tracking of requirement completion.

Scoutbook.com's records are automatically synchronized with the BSA national records. You will be able to both view as well as update your child's progress. Completion of requirements is approved by Den or Pack leaders.

The BSA also has a "Scouting" app that allows you to view and track advancement for your child. The app is available in the Apple App Store and in Google Play.

ScoutShare.org

ScoutShare is a site developed by local Scouters here in the Erie Trails District that promotes sharing of resources and ideas to help your Scout Unit provide a superior program for your members.

Units can learn about the activities done by one unit to provide ideas for what could be done in their own. Fulfilling this opportunity became the foundation for ScoutShare.org

ScoutShare invites you to also share what your unit does and use this resource as place where your planning team can get ideas, contact information, see some pictures and more.
